Story of Prem Thapa
Prem Thapa is an adopted child by Aashi Gurung who is one of the MEI School parents. Prem Thap's father was arrested and sent to jail for 7 years last year. And his mother ran away with another man by leaving Prembehind so he was taken into custody by the Gurung family. Prem Lives with the Gurung family at bhansar ( border). Bhansar is a small local market here in Thori which is on the border between Nepal and India. Prem was admitted to MEI School last year only by the Gurung family now their local shop business has gone down so he couldn't afford to pay his bills as he has another child also to pay the bill. So at the request of the local government ward, we have taken Prem to MEI.
